frequently asked questions

your questions,
straight answers.

1. price and transparency

Neither. It's because a Morphée Écrin isn't a standardized product. Its price depends on the project's ambition — number of pages, technical complexity, length of the collaboration. Displaying a flat price would be either dishonest (if the project turns out more complex) or unfair (if it's simpler). We prefer a frank conversation to a catalogue. If you want an estimate, fill in the form. We'll answer with a precise figure, no surprises.

It's a way of saying we don't play the bidding game. The price is set based on the ambition of your project, not on your ability to negotiate. We don't overcharge a project because we think you can pay more, and we don't undercharge one to lure you in. The price is fair, transparent, and singular. There's nothing to negotiate because there's no hidden margin.

2. the absence of a portfolio

That's a fair question. Here's our answer: we would rather lose a client who demands a portfolio than betray the trust of those who have already chosen us. Luxury rests on discretion. Showing one Patron's work to convince another would be a betrayal. That said, during an exchange we will show you anonymized case studies, technical excerpts, and explain precisely how we'd approach your project. If you need a public portfolio to feel reassured, we're probably not the right partner for you.

3. the process and the timeline

It's deliberate. Morphée takes on only one client at a time. If we had to answer within 48 hours, we'd need a team dedicated to reviewing applications, which would mean we're a "file-processing machine." We aren't. The one-month delay is the time it takes to treat your project seriously — to read it, re-read it, understand it, and decide whether we can bring something unique to it. If you need an immediate answer, Morphée isn't the right partner. If you're willing to wait for a considered one, you're in the right place.

Because unprepared calls are conversations without structure. Morphée runs on a simple principle: you tell us what you want (via the form), we tell you whether we can do it (via a proposal). The form is the first filter. It lets us understand your project without the influence of a live conversation, which can be pleasant but imprecise. If your project is accepted, we will talk at length. But the first step is always written. It's more rigorous.

4. confidentiality

We don't handle workload spikes. We handle one project at a time. So there's no "spike." We adapt our pace to yours, not the other way around. If your project needs more time than planned, we've already anticipated that in the initial schedule. If you need to speed up, we reorganize internally without calling on an outside team. That's the luxury of having only one client: flexibility without outsourcing.

Yes. All data relating to your Écrin is hosted exclusively on French servers, in ISO 27001-certified, GDPR-compliant data centres. No data ever transits through American or Asian servers, or public cloud services. We chose total localization for reasons of sovereignty and security.

Your file is deleted. We keep no information on candidates who weren't retained. No prospect "database," no "watch list" on your projects. Non-selection is final and confidential. You will not receive marketing follow-ups, promotional emails, or sales outreach. Your time was entrusted to us; it isn't resold.

5. the relationship

No. We don't wish to be recommended by people who haven't worked with us. The only recommendation that matters to Morphée is that of a Patron we've actually accompanied. "Trusted" recommendations without concrete experience aren't useful; they create expectations we can't always meet.

No. We are partners. Friendship is a personal relationship; partnership is a professional one built on trust, standards, and rigour. We respect our Patrons, we admire their work, we listen to them, but we don't blur the registers. That's what allows us to be critical when necessary, and to stay objective when decisions are hard.

If you're not satisfied, we work together to understand why and to adjust. During the two-year guarantee, every retouch is included. If you believe the result doesn't match the initial agreement, we review the gaps together. That said, Morphée doesn't practise "full refunds" — creation is a process, not an online purchase. We commit to doing everything so you're aligned with the result, but we don't guarantee "absolute satisfaction" in the commercial sense.

what we don't answer

We don't answer questions already documented on this site. If you write to contact@morphee.design asking "how much does an Écrin cost," you won't get a reply. Read the Écrin page. If you can't find the answer, fill in the form. We'll answer.
